The Patrol Division of the Tullahoma Police Department is responsible for the day to day service to the visitors and citizens of our community. The Patrol Division has as its primary responsibilities:
- Responding to calls for service
- Continuous traffic enforcement programs
- Proactive patrol to deter and mitigate criminal activity
- Community oriented programs and practices
In addition to the recurring services to the community, the Division also conducts monthly sobriety checkpoints, child safety restraint programs, and selective traffic enforcement programs in support of the Governor's Highway Safety Office. The Division also oversees the Reserve Officer program and the school crossing guards.
Structure
The Division is under the control of a Police Captain that reports directly to the Chief of Police. The Police Department Organizational Chart (JPG) depicts the structure of the Patrol Division. The Patrol Division is staffed by 29 sworn officers.
