The City offers residential brush collection services. Each household is entitled to one pickup of brush by City staff each month. There is no charge for this service to residential households. A route is run monthly for this service and the week a resident is serviced is based on the day their household garbage is collected. The routes begin on Monday and run through Thursday of each scheduled week. Please have your brush curbside on the Monday of your scheduled week to ensure pickup.
Each household may collect and put curbside a pile of brush not larger than 4 feet by 4 feet by 10 feet.
Public Works does not pick up brush cut by commercial vendors.
Brush can also be brought to the city recycling facility located at the Public Works Department at 942 Maplewood Avenue. Collected brush is recycled by a private contractor and is resold as mulch as part of our recycling program.
